Q. What is Healing?
A.

Healing means to become whole. There are many therapeutic practices that aim to heal the body. This occurs by a technique (usually a form of hands on healing) that is applied to help people overcome physical, emotional, or mental limitations.

Q. What is Ajna Tibetan Healing?
A.

Ajna Tibetan Healing originated in the Mystery Schools and is only taught to students who have passed rigorous mental, physical and emotional tests. Grand Master Dr. Issam is the only Master who has been given permission to teach Ajna Healing in the western world. Ajna Tibetan Healing incorporates hands on healing and the direction of energy through the Ajna chakra.

Q. What is Reiki?
A.

Reiki is a method of hands on healing re-discovered by Dr Usui. It involves channeling the universal energy to heal the person on a mental, emotional and physical level. Reiki is a gentle form of healing.

Q. What is meditation?
A.

Meditation is a formal time to relax and go within - to dwell in the Silence and to become increasingly aware of the God (higher power) within. Meditation overcomes the limitations of the thinking mind and allows us to become calmer, access our creative abilities and become more intuitive.

Q. What is an aura?
A.

This is the subtle energy,which exists around the human body and other living bodies. The aura although invisible to most people can be clearly seen by those with who are specifically trained to do so.

Q. What are Chakras?
A.

Chakras are spinning wheels of energy seen by the trained eye within the human body. They are a part of the human energy field or the human aura. A healer will balance the seven main chakras in the human body to achieve wellness within the person.

Q. What is Karma?
A.

Karma is an eastern term used to express the scientific law of cause and effect. (The correct terms for cause and effect are Karma and Kerma).

Q. What is metaphysics?
A.

The word "metaphysics" comes from the Greek word "meta", meaning beyond and the word "physics". Metaphysics is the study beyond earth physics. In the standard dictionary definition metaphysics is referred to as a branch of philosophy that deals with First Cause and the Nature of Being. Today, the word "metaphysics" has become a description of many fields of interest such as: philosophy, religion, spirituality, parapsychology, mysticism, yoga, ESP, dreams, Jungian psychology, astrology, meditation, self-help studies, positive thinking, holistic healing, life after death, reincarnation, etc.

Q. Is metaphysics a religion?
A.

Metaphysics is a Science, it is not a religion. It is a study of the man's relationship to himself, the world around him and the universe. There are many who consider themselves metaphysicians but they do not attend religious services. However, they live their lives every-day in a metaphysical way, with truth, honesty, integrity and compassion.

Q. Do metaphysicians believe in prayer?
A.

The Metaphysician believes in prayer, in the form of Affirmations. Affirmations are positive and dynamic statements which re-program negative thoughts.

Q. Do metaphysicians have Gurus?
A.

The word Guru comes from Sanskrit and is the name for a teacher or Master. A guru helps (by example) the student to attain enlightenment.

Q. Are there metaphysical laws and rules that must be observed?
A.

There is no dogma or strict code for a Metaphysician, except for truth, honesty, integrity, compassion and understanding. The metaphysician is taught to work with the heart. Universal laws apply to all persons whether they know about metaphysics or not. Universal laws expand ones life and make all things work better. A person learns to grow effectively and function in balance with all things. All that is needed is the person's higher consciousness to be awakened to the order of the universe.

Q. Does metaphysics claim to be the one path to Truth?
A.

There are many ways to lead an ethical life. Each must find his "right way". No person can be forced to follow a certain path for they have to find the path in their own time, after having understood their life lessons.

Q. What is a Mystery School?
A.

Students of the Mystery School are trained in esoteric or spiritual teachings. After being admitted to the Mystery School, students must pass rigorous tests, while being instructed in the secret wisdom which has been preserved for ages. Many philosophers including Plato and Socrates attended Mystery Schools in Ancient Athens. Students must be selected to attend a Mystery Schools and as their names implies, Mystery Schools are hidden to the public.
