Empowerment Through Healing

When we become ill, our first response is to visit our local Doctor. The visit usually entails the Doctor diagnosing a physical illness and then prescribing appropriate medicine. Sometimes the diagnosis may involve discussion of the emotional issues confronting a patient, but not many Doctors are trained to do so. They are trained to see the human body in its physical form and do not often recognise the link between the body, mind and emotions.

Disease and illness can be cured, but only when there is a holistic and integrated approach to the problem. We need to go further than the physical body, to understand the cause or root of the disease. The cause of illness, although it shows up as a physical problem eg; heart pain, cancer, migraines, hormonal problems, arthritis etc may be deep seated. Physical pain is often an expression of past emotional pain or trauma, which the body has been holding onto for years, which has finally surfaced in the form of pain or disease.

Although it has taken many years for the physical pain to surface, the original pain has always been contained in the subconscious mind and also in the human energy field or the aura. The aura is a comprehensive map of a person's feelings, thoughts, emotions, life events and higher consciousness or spirituality. We can carry with us a memory (in the subconscious mind) of a painful event that occurred in the past. This memory is seen clearly in the aura and will lead to blockages within the body.

A blockage can be experienced in different ways by the human body. In our physical body, a blockage may be recognised as pain, aches, heaviness and physical diseases such as allergies, cancer, chronic fatigue, heart problems, asthma, migraines, poor digestion, hormonal problems, and so forth. In our mental body - that is our thoughts, a blockage may manifest as negative thinking, rage, anger, frustration, scattered thinking and so on and in the emotional body, we can have emotions such as sorrow, anxiety, depression, fear and jealousy.

Because of the link between the mind, body and emotions a holistic approach must be taken. It is impossible to isolate the body and treat it as individual parts. At the International College of Meditation & Healing, we use a holistic and integrated approach to healing, because we know this is the only way that real, effective and lasting healing will take place.

A holistic approach will heal the body, but will also go further to heal the aura. The aura contains the key to unlocking the emotional pain, which is the real cause of the physical pain. Once we heal the aura, we are healing ourselves, not only physically, mentally and emotionally, but healing also takes place on a soul level or spiritually.

The most effective healing method is one that can be identified by the aura on a soul or spiritual level. The way to do this is by using healing techniques, that have been re-discovered in the West and that are recognised around the world for their benefits and results they bring. These ancient healing methods are Reiki, Sekhem and Ajna healing. These forms of healing work with the physical body, but also go deeper, to heal the underlying cause of the problem - to the origin of the pain. At the International College of Meditation & Healing, we use Reiki, Sekhem and Ajna Healing - the most effective methods of healing, in existence in the world today.

All of the above forms of healing have one thing in common. They all tap into the Universal Life Force and allow the Practitioner to 'channel' energy to the patient, enabling him/her to release blockages they are holding onto - ie; mental, emotional and physical blockages. Since the human aura and the subconscious mind can recognise the healing, the healing will be deep seated. The patient does not have to believe in the healing for it to work, however if the patient makes a concerted effort to assist the healing process ie; through changing their diet, understanding their mental patterns and emotional needs etc. the healing will be dramatic and long lasting.

At the International College of Meditation and Healing, when a client comes to us, we not only perform healing in the form of Reiki, Sekhem and Ajna, we also offer realistic and practical advice that can be incorporated into a person's day to day life. Dr. Issam and the College Practitioners work with each patient individually, assessing their needs and approaching the healing as a way of strengthening the body's energy field. Dr. Issam can clearly see a person's aura, just like we are able to see the printed lines in a book.

Through the holistic and integrated healing approach the College takes, patients have often reported feeling calm, relaxed, light and balanced and in some cases have reported feelings of euphoria. Patients have often been able to take control of their lives and make important decisions, they have had a feeling of a stronger purpose in their lives and greater happiness.

At the International College of Meditation and Healing, we treat all clients with the utmost of care and respect. We know that when a client comes to us for healing , they are not only coming to us for diagnosis, but are also coming to us for understanding, compassion, empathy, kindness and warmth.

Our aim at the College is to empower people, to take control of their lives, to help them back on the road to wellness, to allow each person to create the life they want, and to live each day in the present, with joy and love.
