The Mastership level requires a thorough understanding of Levels I and II of Reiki. At this level one would become a teacher of Reiki and therefore a channel of love.

Additional study in meditation and metaphysics needs to be undertaken, to be able to understand energy, the understanding of oneself, to release blockages and to become a clear channel.

If a practitioner decides to tread along this path of higher learning, they undergo the required teachings and training necessary to occupy the Masters level.

This involves deeper study of the healing process, the Kundalini and the chakras. Participants in the Reiki Masters course will participate in the Reiki I & II courses and the Sacred Journey, held by the College.

A commitment and dedication to learning is required, as well as empathy and understanding towards others.

The Reiki Master is not affected by the opposite polarities of life, neither by praise nor by slander, neither by riches nor by poverty, neither by health nor by illness, neither by life nor by death. The will of God is the will of the Reiki Master. He or she surrenders his or her personal will to the will of God.

When KUNDALINI, the primal force of the PRANA (life energy), penetrates and prevails throughout the chakras, the Reiki Master remains stable to the odds of KARMA.
The Reiki Master is a Sage and a King in the face of all temptations, situations, events and environments.
Those who meditate on Reiki energy are blessed through miracles to be Royal Sages throughout the ages.

Reiki is a safe, gentle, non-invasive form of hands-on healing. Recipients report their experience of Reiki includes increased energy, reduction of pain, deep relaxation and a general feeling of well being.
Reiki initiation attunes a Practitioner to become a channel for the Reiki energy and is a powerful, life-changing experience for physical, mental and spiritual growth.
The Usui method of natural healing has evolved into many different channels or styles.

Reiki, as taught at the International College of Meditation & Healing utilizes the Personal Power method, which involves three levels or degrees, which were originally taught by the Mystery Schools. A Practitioner is initiated by a series of attunements, which opens the flow of universal healing energy.

The Training Includes:

• History of Reiki
• How to prepare a room for Reiki
• How to prepare to give a Reiki treatment
• Techniques for performing Reiki treatments
• Level I Reiki connects the Practitioner to the Reiki energy and teaches hands-on Reiki
• Level II Reiki teaches the Practitioner long distance or remote healing
• Level III Reiki initiates the Practitioner to become a Reiki Master

Each level has its own set of attunements and techniques for the type of Reiki to be practised. Once a person has received these attunements they are Reiki Practitioners capable of channeling the Reiki energy. Reiki initiations are for life.

Most of our Reiki students have reported that the attunements cause changes in all aspects of their lives to which the Practitioner needs time to adjust. Because of this, the International College of Meditation & Healing does not combine the three levels - Level I, II, and III in one weekend.

Reiki Practitioner Level I. This class covers an overview of healing energy techniques, then focuses on the history, principles and techniques of Reiki Universal Energy. Students will learn to center and ground themselves, to channel Reiki energy, to prepare a room to give a Reiki treatment, and a series of hand positions as a format for treatments.

Each student will receive Level I attunements, which open the chakras for the flow of Reiki energy. At this point students are Reiki Practitioners. Students will receive a comprehensive manual with the information covered in the class. Prerequisites: The only prerequisite for Level I is a desire to learn Reiki.

Reiki Practitioner Level II. After reviewing Level I healing techniques, students will focus on the remote or long-distance healing techniques of Reiki Universal Energy. Students will be attuned to channel Level II Reiki energy and learn the Reiki symbols and techniques used in absent (remote) healing. Prerequisites: successful completion of Level I and competency in the knowledge and practice of Level I and II Reiki.

Three to six months experience as a Level I & II Practitioner. Reiki Master Candidate Level III (48 hours formal training) This is the first of two parts to complete the Reiki Master Certificate. Level III students focus on learning the Master Symbol of Reiki and how to attune others into Level I and II. Students will learn the training techniques to prepare them to be Reiki Teachers.

Students will be attuned to channel Level III Reiki energy, and on completion of the class, will be certified as a Level III Reiki Practitioner and become a "Reiki Master".
