These classes are designed to introduce individuals to meditation and various techniques that can be used to "still the mind" - the basis of all meditation.

These practical classes are designed to give participants a greater understanding of meditation and even more importantly, to show individuals how to incorporate meditation into their everyday lives.

Benefits from the practice of meditation include: greater peace and understanding deeper insight improved health and well-being enhancement of work and relationships.

The classes focus on practical techniques which can be incorporated into participants' lives on a day to day basis.

There is emphasis on breathing techniques as proper breathing is the first step in meditation and leads to stillness of the mind.

  • Guided visualisation
  • Mantras and their use
  • The importance of posture
  • Open eye meditation using candles
  • Brain wave patterns and their relationship to meditation

This is a six week practical course.
